OBIT NASH, WILLIAM A.

NASH, William A., 74, of Roanoke, died Sunday morning, October 24, 1993, at his home. He was a member of the Raleigh Court Presbyterian Church and the Raleigh Court Lions Club. Mr. Nash was retired from the C&P Telephone Company. Surviving are his wife, Christine Wood Nash; a daughter, Janet Page Nash, both of Roanoke; a son, William A. ("Bill") Nash, Jr. of Caldwell, N.J.; two grandchildren, Mary Jane Nash and Becky Nash, both of Caldwell, N.J.; one sister, Mrs. E. K. ("Margaret") Long of Newport News. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's South Chapel at 2 p.m. Tuesday with Dr. F. Tupper Garden officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Oakey's South Chapel.
