OBIT BAIN, DONALD E.
BAIN, Donald E., 69, of Charleston, W.Va., formerly of Salem, died
Saturday, October 23, 1993 at CAMC Memorial Division. He was retired from
Valley Bell Dairy Company and Kanawha County Library, a member of the
Teamsters Union #175, a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, and a veteran of
World War II and awarded the Purple Heart and Silver Star. Surviving are his
wife, Esther M. Bain; three children, Deborah Lynn Santoro, Hubert E. Bain,
Donald G. Bain, all of Charleston, W.Va.; three stepchildren, Lois Grishaber,
Charles D. Kegley, both of Charleston, W.Va., John R. Kegley, Morgantown,
W.Va.; two grandchildren; 12 stepgrandchildren; 14 stepgreat-grandchildren;
one sister, Edith Dooley, Salem; three brothers, Chester W. Bain, Cayce, S.C.,
William W. Bain, Melbourne, Fla., H.L. Bain, Aurora, Colo. Funeral services
will be held Tuesday, October 26, 1993 at 11 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in
Charleston, W.Va. by Pastor John F. Torrence. Burial will be in Cunningham
Memorial Park in St. Albans, W.Va.
