OBIT KING, CAROLYN CONNER

KING, Carolyn Conner, 94, of Roanoke, formerly of Copper Hill, died Monday, October 25, 1993 in the Richfield Nursing Center. Surviving are one son and three daughters-in-law, Charles and Etta King, of Casselberry, Fla., Trixie Poff and Minnie King, both of Roanoke; eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Ennis Conner of Davy, W.Va. Funeral service 11 a.m. Thursday at Copper Hill Church of the Brethren, with the Rev. Frank Wimmer officiating. Interment in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Wood's Funeral Home, Floyd.
