PICKUP OVERTURNS, KILLS BOTETOURT DRIVER

A Botetourt County man was killed in a one-vehicle accident at 5 a.m. Thursday on Virginia 606 in Craig County.

Jon F. Southern, 34, of Eagle Rock was pronounced dead at the scene after his pickup truck veered off the road, slid down an embankment and overturned just east of Virginia 615, according to state police. - Staff report
