The school will be closed today as workers continue to try to repair an underground water main that burst late Thursday afternoon, according to Richard Kelley, assistant superintendent of Roanoke schools.
Kelley said the problem was discovered at 5:30 p.m. Thursday and that work on the water line will probably continue through the weekend.
The Roanoke Valley Governor's School - which uses a separate water system - will remain open today, Kelley said.
