FREAKY FRIDAY SET FOR FAIRGROUNDS

New River Community College will hold its annual fall monster bash, "Freaky Friday," at the New River Valley Fairgrounds, today, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

On the schedule are activities for kids, including skits and plays, games, a hayride and a haunted house.

Come in costume. Refreshments will be available.

Admission for children under 13 is 50 cents or a can of food; for adults, $1.50 or three cans of food. New River Community College students are admitted free with a valid ID card.

Canned goods will be donated to Garments and Garnishes, a food and clothing bank in Dublin. Cash proceeds will benefit various sponsoring groups at New River Community College.
