MENTAL-HEALTH AWARDS DINNER

The Mental Health Association of Montgomery County will hold its annual awards dinner at the Marriott Nov. 16 at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are available through members of the association or may be purchased at the Mental Health Office at 203 Church St.

The guest speaker will be Nikki Giovanni, professor of English at Virginia Tech. She will talk on the subject of volunteerism and the personal benefits gained from volunteering.

John and Kathy Hollandsworth, will perform. John Hollandsworth plays the autoharp and was recently named "Outstanding Performer" at the Galax Fiddlers Convention.
