GILES QUILT SHOW IS NOV. 6-7

The 1993 Giles County Historical Society quilt show will be held Nov. 6, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and Nov. 7, 1-5 p.m. at the Andrew Johnston House, 208 N. Main St.

There is a charge for admission.

Sponsors are seeking quilts that were not shown at last year's show.

Quilts for the exhibit must be registered at the Johnston House Wednesday, noon-8 p.m. Exhibitors should provide the date of the quilt, its pattern and its maker. There is no charge to enter an item.

Quilts may be of any fabric, age or size, and both antique and contemporary quilts will be displayed.

Quilted items such as wall hangings and clothing also may be entered.
