OBIT-LOOPE, ROBERT ELWYN

LOOPE, Robert Elwyn, 82, of Buchanan, died Wednesday, October 27, 1993. He was a member of the Buchanan Ruritan Club. Survivors include his wife, Doradean Powell Loope; daughters and son-in-law, Lois L. Senick, Rural Hall, N.C., Margaret and Charles Booze, Greencastle, Pa.; sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Barbara Loope, Natural Bridge, Roy and Carol Loope, Buchanan, Terry and Kathy Loope, Buchanan; brother and sisters-in-law, Lloyd L. and Alice Loope, Bluemont, Katherine Loope, Buchanan, Alice Loope, Blacksburg; grandchildren and spouses, Mickey and Sheila Senick, Dana and Rex Coleman, Kevin Loope, Sara Loope, Teresa Russell, Lisa Mullins, EMillie Jane Loope, Charles Edwin Booze, Brian Booze; one stepgreat-granddaughter, Allison Swaim. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 30, 1993 at 2 p.m. in Rader Troutville Chapel with the Rev. Paul G. (Chip) Gunsten and Rev. Juan E. Barr officiating. Interment will follow in Wheatland Lutheran Church Cemetery. For those wishing to make a contribution please consider the Buchanan or Fincastle Rescue Squads. The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Rader Funeral Home, Troutville.
