OBIT-CHAPPELL, ETHEL B.

CHAPPELL, Ethel B., 76, of Hillsville, passed away Wednesday, October 27, 1993, at Eldercare of Hillsville. She was born October 7, 1917, in Carroll County, Va., a daughter of the late Sidney Bullion and Rhoda Burcham Bullion. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Marcus C. and Rita Chappell, Hillsville; one sister, Gladys Melton, Woodlawn; one brother, Charlie Bullion, Woodlawn; two grandsons, Michael A. Chappell, Hillsville, William C. Chappell, Martinsville; one granddaughter, Valerie Cochran, Hillsville; four great-grandsons; one great-granddaughter. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, October 30, 1993, at the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel, Hillsville, with Mr. Rick Woolery officiating. Burial will be in the Worrell Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Laurel Rescue Squad, Rt. 1, Austinville, Va. The family will receive friends Friday evening, 7 to 9 p.m. at the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Funeral Home Chapel.
