JAZZ FESTIVAL IN BLACKSBURG

Blacksburg Cable TV and Bravo will sponsor a jazz festival in Blacksburg Nov. 6, noon-6 p.m. at the Lyric Theater.

The festival will help to raise money to build The Creative Arts Center to serve Blacksburg, Christiansburg and Montgomery County.

Blacksburg Cable TV and Bravo will make a $1,000 donation toward the project at a VIP reception just prior to the jazz festival.

Appearing will be the Virginia Tech Jazz Combo and the Virginia Tech Jazz Orchestra. Also performing will be The New Virginians, The New River Valley Jazz Jam, The Riverboat Ramblers, the Dave Figg Quartet and Convergence Jazz Quartet. C.K. Allen at Blacksburg Cable, 552-3341.
