NOV. 13 `TURKEY TROT' FOR DIABETES GROUP

The New River Valley chapter of the American Diabetes Association is sponsoring a "turkey trot" on Nov. 13 at 9 a.m. in Peters Hall on the Radford University campus.

Children will be given three chances to turkey trot 20 to 30 feet and will receive pledges based on the longest distance they trot. The money raised will go toward diabetes research and education funds. Call 703-989-7871.
