Kristie Michele Logan and Arthur Lee Bowles, II, were married October 30, 1993, in Rosalind Hills Baptist Church, with the Rev. Tom Stocks officiating. The reception was held at Rosalind HillsBaptist Church Lodge. The maid of honor was Tammy Cuddy, friend. The matron of honor was Patra Philpott, friend. The bridesmaids were Julie Reed, Robin Hummel, Sheila Hamlett, friends; and Dara Dalton, cousin of the bride. Junior bridesmaids were Shanin Bowles, sister of the groom; and Heather Edwards, cousin of the bride. Flowergirl was KoriePhilpott, godchild of the bride. The best man was Arthur L. Bowles, I, father of the groom. The ushers were James Logan, brother of the bride; Wendell Johnson, cousin of the groom; Robert Hurd, Tom Carter, Benny Scott, friends; and Brett Bowles, brother of the groom. The guest-book was attended by Ashley Daulton cousin of the bride; and Michele Krista, sister of the groom. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James W. Logan of Roanoke. She is a graduate of Patrick Henry High School and attends Virginia Western Community College. The groom is the son of Arthur L. Bowles, I, and Betty J. Huffman of Roanoke. The newlyweds will live in Roanoke.
