HOWARD-HAHN

Tammy L. Hahn and Captain William L. Howard, Jr., were married July 31, 1993, at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Birmingham, Alabama, with Reverend Eric Guthrie, O.S.B., officiating. The reception was held at St. Peter's Fireside Room. The maid of honor was Wendy Morris of Birmingham, Ala., friend of the bride. The matron of honor was Deborah McDuffee of Warrior, Ala., aunt of bride. Bridesmaids were Vicki Asimakopoulos of Roanoke, Va., sister of groom, Theresa Howard of Roanoke, Va., sister of groom, Marlena McDuffee of Warrior, Ala., Amy Ogletree of Athens, Ga., and Cindy Ogletree of Athens, Ga., cousins of bride, Stephanie Worley of Calhoun, Ga., friend of bride. The flower girls were Jordan Kile and Tylee Kile of Leeds, Ala., friends of bride. Father of the groom, William L. Howard, Sr., of Roanoke, Va., served as best man. Ushers included Johnny Asimakopoulos of Roanoke, Va., brother-in-law of groom, T. J. Hahn of Columbiana, Ala., brother of bride, Michael Howard of Roanoke, Va., brother of groom, Ted Negal of West Seneca, N. Y., Troy Peverall of Parma, Ohio, Timothy Seymour of Alexandria, Va., Doug Tumminello of Lakewood, Colo., all friends of groom. Ringbearer was Christian T. Carrardella of Remlap, Ala. Organist, Jerrold Tidwell of Birmingham, Ala., and soloist, Sophie Kozak of Birmingham, Ala. The bride and groom were escorted from the church by a full dress military Honor Guard. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Hahn of Columbiana, Ala. She attended the University of Alabama, Birmingham. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William L. Howard, Sr., of Roanoke, Va. He graduated from Cave Spring High School and Longwood College in Farmville, Va. He is a captain in the United States Army/Airborne Division. The newlyweds are living in Giebelstadt, Germany, after a wedding trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica.
