MARTIN-HUTSON

Grove Avenue Baptist Church in Richmond was the setting for the October 2, 1993, wedding of Saundra ElizabethHutson, of Richmond, to Barry AlanMartin, of Richmond. The Rev. RonBoswell, Pastor of Grove Avenue Baptist Church, and Dr. Jack Arnold, Pastor of Howell Branch Fellowship in Winter Park, Fla., officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles J. Hutson, of Chesterfield. The groom is the son of Mrs. Kathleen P. Martin, of Roanoke, and the late Lucas D. Martin. Maid of honor was Wanda M. Breeden, of Spotsylvania, Va. Dawn H. Allen, of Colonial Heights, was her sister's matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Linda M. Bratton, of Roanoke, and Kathy M. Underwood, of Roanoke, sisters of the groom; Philicia Y. Joyner, of Richmond; and Kathy F. McDaniel, of Roanoke. Flowergirls were Jennifer E. Russell, of Richmond, and Emily K. McDaniel, of Roanoke.

Kenneth H. Russell, of Richmond, was best man. Groomsmen were BrianArnold, of Louisville, Ky.; Rick D.Plasters, of Birmingham, Ala.; James K. Affeldt, of Norfolk; Kevin M. Stengel, of Richmond; and Gary D. McDaniel, of Roanoke. Ringbearer was Joshua L.Allen, of Colonial Heights.

Miss Hutson graduated from Grace Baptist School in Petersburg and attended Kee Business College. She is employed by S & K Famous Brands, Inc. Mr. Martin graduated from Patrick Henry High School in Roanoke and from Virginia Tech. He is employed by Crestar Bank. After the wedding trip to St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands, the couple will reside in Richmond.
