WALTERS-MITCHELL

Vicki Mitchell and Rodney Walters, Sr., were united in marriage Saturday, October 23, 1993. The bride is the daughter of Gini Sloan and Leon Turner, Sr. The groom is the son of Sue Pruitt and William Walters. Vicki is employed by Allstate and Rodney is employed by Argabright Contractors.

The outdoor ceremony was held at Stonebridge Park in Vinton with Murray A. Stoller officiating. The ceremony was attended by Brandi Walters, daughter of the groom, and Rodney Walters, Jr., son of the groom. The wedding party wore a black and white combination. Music was performed by Bagpipist John Briscoe.

After a honeymoon in Cancun, Mexico, the couple will build their home in Boones Mill.
