GIESEN ANNIVERSARY

Mr. and Mrs. George Luther (Jack) Giesen recently celebrated their thirtieth wedding anniversary. Due to the recent hospitalization of Mr. Giesen the celebration was private. The couple was married October 19, 1963 by the Honorable Judge Charles F. Nunn in York, South Carolina.

Mr. Giesen is a retired, self employed brick mason, a charter member of Local #7 BAC Union of Virginia with over sixty years membership, a veteran of World War II, the father of two daughters and a son, with a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is the former Margaret Louise Dillon, a graduate of William Byrd High School, Vinton, Virginia. She was employed in the dry cleaning industry for thirty years prior to her retirement from Valley Cleaners. They are life time residents of Roanoke, Virginia.
