OBIT SAYERS, MAUDE RING

SAYERS, Maude Ring, 69, of Route 1, Draper, died Saturday, October 30, 1993, in the Pulaski Community Hospital. She was born in Wythe County on May 29, 1924, and was the daughter of the late Thomas Ring and Josephine Safewright Ring. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert F. Sayers. Surviving are one daughter, Frances Richardson of Draper; two sons, Henry Thomas ("Buck") Sayers of Richmond and Tommy Lee Wall of Pulaski; two sisters, Lugie Bishop of Wytheville and Gladys Cannoy of Wytheville; two brothers, Clarence Ring of Wytheville and Ray Ring of Rural Retreat; four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Draper's Valley Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Preston O. Sartelle Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Christian Church Cemetery, Draper. Visiting will be Sunday evening at Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski, where the family will receive friends from 7 until 9.
