OBIT POLLARD, LETTIE LOUISE

POLLARD, Lettie Louise, ("Polly"), 82, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, November 2, 1993, in a local hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Pollard; a sister, Katherine Jennings and a brother, Peter Truxell. Surviving are a daughter, Gail Mayhew, Catawba; a granddaughter, Angela Blevins, Catawba; two great-grandchildren, Eli and Dorey; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Eula Ayers, Salem, Mary and Tom Crist, Alexandria; a brother, Jack Truxell, Charlotte, N.C.; a brother-in-law, Herbert Jennings, Norfolk. Plans for a memorial service are pending. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Friendship Manor (327 Hershberger Rd., N.W., Roanoke, VA 24012). Arrangements by Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
