SHOP GEOLOGICALLY FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Geodes, beads, minerals, bookends and other geology-related items will be available - just in time for holiday shopping - during the annual mineral sale Saturday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., at the Museum of Geological Sciences on the Virginia Tech campus.

Proceeds from the sale help defray the museum's operating expenses. The sale also is a chance for visitors to become familiar with various minerals and mineral formations. The museum is in 2062 Derring Hall. Call 231-3001.
