OBIT-BURNETTE, ELLEN MCDANIEL

BURNETTE, Ellen McDaniel, 69, of Route 3, Max Meadows, the Fort Chiswell Community, died Wednesday, November 3, 1993 at her residence. She was born in Radford the daughter of the late Charles and Annie Belle Tickle McDaniel. She was a member of the St. Paul Pentecostal Holiness Church and was preceded in death by a son The Rev. Charles F. Burnette. She is survived by her husband, Lahue Burnette; one daughter and son-in-law, Jolene and Tommy Pearman, of Route 3, Max Meadows; one daughter-in-law, Jo Ann Burnette of Pulaski; two granddaughters and husbands, Charlene and Tim Wheeler of Falcon, N.C., Andrea and Brent Fortson of Zebulon, Ga.; one grandson, Brian Pearman, of Route 3, Max Meadows; one great-great-gandson, Andrew Fortson; one sister, Louise Baker of Radford; three brothers, Rev. Charlie McDaniel, Paul McDaniel, both of Wytheville, Thomas McDaniel of Radford. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 5, 1993 at 2 p.m. at the St. Paul Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Ray Humphries, the Rev. Richard Ashworth, and the Rev. A.C. Ashford officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery. The remains will be placed in the church one hour before service time. The family will receive friends at the Barnett Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday or at the residence at any time. Barnett Funeral Home in Wytheville is in charge of the arrangements.
