WILLIAMS, Lena Fisher, 87, of 1175 West Main St., Wytheville, died
Wednesday, November 3, 1993, in the Wythe County Community Hospital. She was
the widow of Lewis R. Williams. She is survived by four daughters and
sons-in-law, Frances and Jim Ronnie, West Bloomfield, Mich., Lee and Fred
Brown, Wytheville, Helen and Charles Jackson, Max Meadows, Carrol and Johnny
Crabtree, Wytheville; three sons and daughters-in-law, Lewis R. and Irene
Williams, York, S.C., Ralph and Mildred Williams, Wytheville, Jack and Barbara
Williams, Wytheville; three sisters, Ola Grubb, Mentor, Ohio, Hazel Manuel,
Portland, Ore., Daisy Harrison, Wytheville; two brothers, Charles Fisher,
Winston Salem, N.C., Carl Fisher, Roanoke; nine grandchildren; nine
great-grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren and seven stepgreat-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday, November 5, 1993, at 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel
of the Grubb Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Holly Phillips and the Rev.
Robert Peterson, with interment to follow in the West End Cemetery. The family
will receive friends at the Grubb Funeral Home Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. or at
the home of her daughter, Carrol and Johnny Crabtree at anytime. The Grubb
Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
