AMNESTY FROM FINES

The Montgomery-Floyd Regional Library Board of Trustees has declared November and December as Amnesty months for overdue books and materials. Fines can be paid with food or children's books.

The food must be boxed or canned, non-perishable and unopened, and in good condition. The books should be clean and in good condition. One item must be donated for each overdue item.

Amnesty months will be held at all three branches: the Christiansburg headquarters library on Sheltman Street, the Blacksburg area branch and the Jessie Peterman Memorial branch in Floyd County. The bookmobiles also are participating.
