The 50-minute cassette, Collins pointed out, "is a collection of songs I love best. They include `Send in the Clowns,' `The Blizzard,' `Both Sides Now,' `Dreaming,' `Chelsea Morning,' `Cat's in the Cradle' and `Amazing Grace.' There are also some photographs and moments with friends and musicians who give a special meaning to my life."
A good portion of the tape comes from a Lincoln Center concert that benefitted the Lauri Strauss Leukemia Foundation. That organization will get some of the proceeds of the $19.95 video being distributed by Consumer Video Marketing (1-800-66-MUSIC).
Other songs included on the video are "Since You've Asked," "Joan of Arc," "Someday Soon," "Wild Mountain Thyme" and "From a Distance."
The "Amazing Grace" finale was taped at the Arkansas Inauguration Ball in January and showcases the ever-alluring fiber of her soprano.
In March, Collins was an overnight guest at the White House and was persuaded to join Clinton on his early-morning jog. After keeping up with him for 18 minutes, she gave up at the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, where a limousine was summoned for her. Clinton ran on for another mile.
