COULTER-CARTER
Paula Leigh Carter and Kenneth Jay Coulter were married October 16, 1993,
in Cave Spring Baptist Church with Rev. Carol Johnston officiating. The
reception was held at Cave Spring Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. The matron
of honor was Kimberly Dawn Jackson, best friend. Bridesmaids were Brenda
McCray and Lurinda Sandise, friends of bride. Amber Dawn Coulter, niece of
groom, was flower girl. The best man was John Spickard, friend of groom.
Ushers were Ira Taylor and Michael Brown, friends of groom. Matthew Blake was
ring bearer. Candlelighters were Ira Taylor and Michael Brown. The guestbook
was attended by Catina Lee. The bride wore an all white off the shoulder gown
with a chapel length train. She carried a bouquet of roses and baby's breath.
The bride is the daughter of Charlotte Aliff of Roanoke. She graduated from
Northside High School and is employed by Amp, Inc., of Roanoke. The groom is
the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur E. Coulter of Roanoke. He graduated from
William Fleming High School and is self-employed in construction. The
newlyweds will live in Roanoke after a wedding trip to Baltimore and
Washington, D. C.
