The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Watkins England of Martinsville, Va. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Watkins England of Morganton, N.C., and of the Reverend and Mrs. Hugh Wilmer Agricola, Jr. of Birmingham, Ala.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Edward Woods of Pembroke, Va. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Wilhelm Sagel of Baltimore, Md., and of the late Mr. and Mrs. Buford William Woods of Pearisburg, Va.
The program of wedding music was performed by Mrs. Emily Owens in a setting of candlelight and white altar flowers.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a white silk gown, trimmed in pearls and Austrian crystals with a cathedral length train and a silk organza cathedral-length veil. She carried a bouquet of dendobrium orchids, lilies, roses, bouvardia and queen anne's lace and stephanotis, accented with eucalyptus.
Margaret Paige England of West-minster, Md., was her sister's maid of honor. She wore a purple organza gown and carried a bouquet of magenta gloriosa lilies, blue anemones, red roses andasters, accented with ivy and eucalyptus.
The bridesmaids were Miss Leigh Ann Smith of Charlotte, N.C., and Mrs. Harry Todd Comer of Roanoke, Va. Their gowns matched that of the honor attendant.
Amanda Ellalee Agricola of Birmingham, Ala., was the flower girl. She is the daughter of John Disque Agricola and the cousin of the bride. Her dress was white linen with lace insets. She carried a basket of fall flowers and wore a ringlet of baby's breath in her hair.
The father of the groom was the best man. Groomsmen were ChristopherEdward Woods, brother of the groom, of Pearisburg, Va.; Harry Todd Comer of Roanoke, Va.; George Gregory Taylor of Blue Ridge, Va.; David Brian Wisman of Woodstock, Va.; Gary Van Radford of Roanoke, Va.; and William Taylor Gentry of Christiansburg, Va.
Matthew England Wagner of Pfafftown, N.C., son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Wagner and cousin of the bride, was ringbearer.
John Disque Agricola, II of Birmingham, Ala., son of John Disque Agricola, and Hugh Agricola Bowman of Anniston, Ala., son of Mr. and Mrs. Joel Victor Bowman, were also ushers.
Victoria Langstaff Bowman, also of Anniston, Ala., was the acolyte. Herfather, Joel Victor Bowman, assisted in the communion service.
The reception was held at the Patrick Henry Hotel in Roanoke, Va.
Following the wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple will reside in Hong Kong.
