OBIT-TRENT, DORA BEARD, ("PEG")

TRENT, Dora Beard, ("Peg"), 75, of Roanoke, died Saturday, November 6, 1993. Dora was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Sydney Beard, her brothers, Carlton E. Beard and Grover L. Beard. She was a member of East End Baptist Church and is survived by her very devoted husband of 57 years, Claude W. Trent; her daughter and special son-in-law, Joyce and Ronnie Harper, Roanoke; her son and special daughter-in-law, Danny and Sandy Trent, Roanoke; her grandchildren, Kenny Harper and wife, Judy, Tim Harper and wife, Paula, Cindy Bower and husband, Jeff, Scott Trent and wife, Jill, Keith Trent and wife, Holly, all of Roanoke; her great-grandchildren, Tamara, Kara, Mandy and Nicholas Harper, Whitney and Aric Bower, and Brittany Trent; two sisters-in-law, Frances and Dorothy Beard, both of Roanoke; two aunts, Dora L. Harrison and Helen Brammer. Also, several special nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's Vinton Chapel Tuesday, November 9, at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Lewis Brammer and the Rev. Bill Hartsfield officiating. Interment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Roanoke Emergency Medical Services (P.O. Box 1801, Roanoke, Va., 24008), in her memory. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
