RADFORD PUBLIC LIBRARY REOPENS

The Radford Public Library has reopened following completion of the ne children's wing. A formal dedication ceremony for the new addition will be held Nov. 17 at noon. Keynote speaker will be John Tyson, Virginia's state librarian. The library's hours are:

Monday-Wednesday 10 a.m.-8:30 p.m.

\ Thursday-Friday 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

\ Saturday 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

\ Sunday 2-5 p.m.

Story time for preschoolers, ages 3-5 years old, will resume new hours Nov. 16. in the new wing. Story times will be Tuesdays at 10:30-11 a.m. and 1:30-2 p.m., and Wednesdays, 7-7:30 p.m. No registration is required.

The after-hours book return depository has been relocated to the side entrance next to the parking lot.
