OBIT BAILEY, GERTRUDE WILLIAMS

BAILEY, Gertrude Williams, 97, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, November 9, 1993, in a local nursing home. She was a member of the Waverly Place Baptist Church; and was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Harold Bailey; son, Edwin L. Bailey. Surviving are son, Charles H. Bailey Jr. of Blue Ridge; daughter, Betty B. Barker of Boise, Idaho; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Millard Williams, Front Royal. Funeral services will be at Oakey's Vinton Chapel 1 p.m. Friday, November 12, 1993, with the Rev. William E. Hungate officiating. Interment in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
