UVA'S MUNDY OUT 3-6 WEEKS

University of Virginia tight end Aaron Mundy underwent arthroscopic surgery Thursday for torn cartilage in his right knee. Mundy, a senior from Hampton is third on the team in receptions with 20 catches for 303 yards.

He is expected to be out 3-6 weeks. Sophomore Bobby Neely is expected to start in Mundy's place at tight end in Virginia's game Saturday at Clemson.

University of Virginia linebacker Tim Benson was one of 15 college football players selected as a 1993 National Scholar Athlete by the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame. William and Mary defensive tackle Craig Staub and Hampton University receiver Tim Benson were other selections from Virginia.
