OBIT SMITH, RUTH DAVIS

SMITH, Ruth Davis, 63, of Natural Bridge Station, died at her home Wednesday, November 11, 1993. She was born March 28, 1930, in Bedford, the daughter of the late Charles Adam and Bessie Lee McDaniel Davis. She is survived by her husband, Walter Freeman Smith of Natural Bridge Station; two daughters, Patricia Smith Fitzgerald and Janice Smith Southers both of Buena Vista; one son, Edward Davis Smith of the home; one sister, Charlotte Davis Beall, Rockville, Md.; two brothers, Charles Early Davis, Rockville, Md., John Howard Davis, Silver Springs, Md.; three granddaughters. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 13, at Hill Family Cemetery, Arnolds Valley. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at Lomax Funeral Home.
