OBIT AKERS, EUGENE S.

AKERS, Eugene S., 59, of Roanoke, passed away Thursday, November 11, 1993. He was retired from Carter Machinery after 35 years. Surviving are his wife, Barbara Deaton Akers; daughters and son-in-law, Cathy and Ricky Johnson, Nicole Akers; son and daughter-in-law, Mark S. and Lynda Akers; grandchildren, Randi and Dusty Johnson, Brittany and Aaron Akers; two sisters, Mary Bryant and Florence Hogan. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 13, 1993, at 1 p.m. at Lotz Roanoke Chapel with the Rev. Roger Graves officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Arrangements are being handled by Lotz Funeral Home Roanoke.
