OBIT MINTER, HELEN LOUISE BRILLHART

MINTER, Helen Louise Brillhart, ("Ammaws"), 73, of Roanoke, passed away Friday, November 12, 1993. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond D. Minter and was a member of Preston Oaks Baptist Church, Order of the Eastern Star (and past Worthy Matron) Hillcrest Chapter #159, and the Ladies Auxiliary U.T.U. #377 (where she was treasurer for over 20 years). Surviving are a son, R. D. Minter, Tustin, Calif.; a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn M. and Thomas R. Blackwell, Culpeper; two granddaughters, Heather L. Blackwell, Nancy C. Blackwell; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Beatrice "Bea" and Bud Runyon, Roanoke, Madeline and Jack Shelor, Salem, Catherine "Odell" and Jack Morris, Roanoke; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Joyce Price, Richmond, and Bill and Jeanette Price, Roanoke. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, from Oakey's North Chapel, with Rev. James R. Millsaps officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Burial Park. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Saturday at Oakey's North Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
