The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leland L. Blanding of Williamsburg. The groom is the son of the Honorable Judge and Mrs. James C. Turk of Radford, Va.
Kelly Blanding Cutrone of Los Angeles served as maid of honor for her sister. Bobby Turk, brother of the groom, was best man.
Bridesmaids were Suzanne Blanding, sister-in-law of the bride, of Gloucester Pt., Va., Amy Carr and Jennifer Fregin of Syracuse, N. Y., Barbara Turk, sister-in-law of the groom, Kara Choe and Teresa Webb, all of Radford, Va., Michele Groves of Fairfax, Va., and Dana Truxell of Virginia Beach.
Groomsmen were Lee Blanding, brother of the bride, John Abare of Atlanta, Ga., Michael Ball of Warrenton, Va., Michael Turk, brother of the groom, Robert Dameron, Ben Harris, and Blaine Segal, all of Radford.
Flowermaidens were Margo, Laura and Sarah LaPatino, nieces of the groom, of East Haven, Conneticut.
Organist Robin Steinberger accompanied soloists Mrs. Barbara Turk, mother of the groom, and Mr. Michael Cotton.
The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore a straight french lace formal gown with an applique cathedral tulle train designed and created by Lily of Maryland.
The rehearsal dinner was held at Ford's Colony Country Club and the reception at the Williamsburg Hospitality House.
The bride is a recent graduate of Radford University earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Journalism. The groom is a graduate of Roanoke College and the Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama. He is currently a practicing attorney in Radford, Va.
Following their wedding trip and South Sea cruise to Tahiti, the couple will reside in Radford, Virginia.
