Kristie Lynn Martin and Michael Wayne Settle were married November 13,
1993, in Fort Lewis Baptist Church. Rev. Elmo McLauren performed the ceremony.
The reception was held at the church. The maid of honor was Misty Martin,
sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Mandy Radford, cousin of the bride, Ann
Crouch, friend of the bride and groom, and Missy Sumner, cousin of the groom.
Flowergirls were Kim Patterson, sister of the groom, and Jessica Potter, niece
of the bride. The best man was Calvin Settle, father of the groom. Ushers were
Wesley Howard and Stephen Waller, cousins of the groom, and Steve Hite, friend
of the bride and groom. Ringbearers were Nathan and Levi Martin, brothers of
the bride. The bride is a daughter of Ronald R. Martin, of Newport, Va., and
Betty R. Clarke, of Rocky Mount, Va. She graduated from Cave Spring High
School and is employed by Allstate. The bridegroom is a son of Calvin Settle,
of Vinton, Va., and Sandra Patterson, of Roanoke, Va. He graduated from
William Byrd High School and is employed by Roanoke Distributing Company. The
newlyweds will live in Rocky Mount, Va.
