Maryville (7-3) led 21-14 going into the fourth quarter before the Wasps rallied with an 8-yard touchdown run by quarterback Aaron Brand. The Scots put it away on a 1-yard scoring plunge by Ron Silver and a two-point conversion.
Emory & Henry (7-3) closed the scoring on a 15-yard touchdown pass from Brand to Todd Woodall. A two-point conversion attempt that would have won the game for the Wasps failed. The loss may have cost E&H an NCAA Division III playoff berth.
Maryville's Adam Heiks completed six of 10 passes for 96 yards. Heiks connected with Andrew Johnson for a 43-yard touchdown in the second quarter.

LEXINGTON - Wilson Moore scored a career-high three touchdowns to lead the Generals past the Cardinals.
Moore, a senior fullback, rushed for 115 yards and had 14 yards receiving for Washington and Lee (2-7).
Catholic (1-9) managed only 80 yards rushing and 153 total yards to the Generals' 401 total yards, including 277 on the ground.
Freshman Brooks Fischer threw for one touchdown in the third period and another in the fourth to give him 10 scoring passes this season.
Brian Manternach added a 65-yard touchdown run for W & L, and Jason Chartrand sacked Cardinals quarterback Ray Williams for a safety. \ William and Mary 45\ Massachusetts 28
AMHERST, Mass. - Shawn Knight threw three touchdown passes, and reserve fullback Troy Keen ran for three more as the Tribe tripped the Minutemen in the Yankee Conference.
It was the seventh consecutive victory for William and Mary (8-2 overall, 6-1 Yankee), which is ranked No. 10 in NCAA Division I-AA.
Massachusetts (7-3, 4-3) had won six in a row.
The Tribe took a 17-7 halftime lead and pushed it to 24-7 on a 10-yard run by Keen. The Minutemen rallied with a pair of touchdowns to make it 24-21, but William and Mary put away the game by scoring on three consecutive possessions.
Knight's 12-yard pass to Mike Tomlin capped a 10-play, 80-yard drive, and the two hooked up on an 18-yarder on the next possession to finish a six-play, 72-yard drive that made it 38-21.
Massachusetts fumbled the ensuing kickoff and the Tribe recovered at the 38, scoring five plays later with a 6-yard run by Keen.
Tomlin had six catches for 81 yards, and Keen ran 16 times for 87 yards for William and Mary.
The Minutemen's leading rusher, Rene Ingoglia, was held to 50 yards on 13 carries. He scored two touchdowns.

VILLANOVA, Pa. - D'Artagnan Townes scored three touchdowns to lead the Dukes past the Wildcats in a Yankee Conference matchup, the first meeting between the two schools.
James Madison (6-4, 4-2) rolled up 454 yards rushing while holding Villanova (3-7, 1-7) to 165.
Dukes quarterback Mike Cawley, who completed nine of 15 passes for 199 yards, connected on a 42-yard scoring strike to David McLeod as James Madison took a 7-3 lead in the second quarter.
McLeod caught passes of 42, 51 and 67 yards. He finished with six catches for 192 yards.
Townes, who rushed for 25 yards on seven carries, added a 15-yard touchdown run with 1:14 remaining.

NEWARK, Del. - Quarterback Keith Langan threw for 241 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Blue Hens past the Spiders in the Yankee Conference, keeping Delaware's Division I-AA playoff hopes alive.
The Blue Hens (7-3, 5-2) need a victory over Northeastern on Nov. 20 in Boston to claim one of 16 berths to be announced Nov. 21.
The Spiders, expected to contend for the Yankee crown, lost their fourth in a row to fall to 5-5, 3-4.
Langan, a sophomore who took over for injured Dale Fry four weeks ago, was nearly flawless, completing eight of 12 passes and rushing for 58 yards.
Delaware fullback Daryl Brown rushed for 111 yards and three touchdowns on 21 carries and went over 1,000 yards for the second consecutive season. \ Liberty 47\ Delaware State 43
DOVER, Del. - Antwan Chiles scored on a quarterback sneak with 3:11 to play, rallying the Flames (5-5) past the Hornets in a wild game.
The winning touchdown was set up by Chiles' 78-yard pass to James McKnight.
A 2-yard run by Liberty's Adrion Cherry and a 22-yard interception return gave the Flames their first lead, at 40-36 with 10:15 to play.
Jones then capped a 13-play drive with a 4-yard touchdown pass on fourth down to give Delaware State a 43-40 lead with 5:48 left in the game. \ Other games
\ Randolph-Macon 17, Hampden-Sydney 10: In Ashland, the Yellow Jackets' Andy Bush scored one touchdown and threw for one as Randolph-Macon wrapped up the Old Dominion Athletic Conference title with a victory over the Tigers.
The Yellow Jackets (7-2-1, 5-0) broke a tie on a 22-yard touchdown pass from Bush to David Hughes with 8:32 remaining.
The winning score came 45 seconds after the Tigers (6-4, 3-2) had tied it on a 5-yard scoring pass from former Blacksburg High School standout Brian Crist to Cetric Gayles.
\ Bethune-Cookman 33, Norfolk State 31: In Norfolk, the Wildcats scored twice in the fourth quarter on Ty Laster's 58-yard punt return and Tony Kerrin's 11-yard run to rally for a victory over the Spartans.
The victory came with Tyrone McGriff acting as interim head coach for Bethune-Cookman (3-7), which suspended Sylvester Collins when he was charged with sexual assault. Norfolk State finished 3-7-1.
\ Hampton U. 49, Morris Brown 14: In Atlanta, Malcolm Benson rushed for 127 yards and Anthony Smith added 101 as the Pirates, ranked No. 3 in NCAA Division II, finished the regular season 11-0 for the first time by beating the Wolverines.
\ Virginia State 48, Winston-Salem State 24: In Winston-Salem, N.C., Greg Clark threw for five touchdowns and ran for one to lead the Trojans (9-1, 7-1) past the Rams (6-4-1, 5-2-1) in the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association.
\ North Carolina Central 20, Virginia Union 13: In Richmond, Joe Simmons rushed for 255 yards on 33 carries and scored a touchdown as the Eagles (6-5, 5-3) defeated the Panthers (2-8-1, 2-5-1) in the CIAA.
\ Davidson 55, Bridgewater 14: In Davidson, N.C., quarterback Richard Howell closed his career by running for four touchdowns and passing for one as the Wildcats (6-4) routed the Eagles (2-8).
\ Clinch Valley 62, Sue Bennett 12: In Wise, Ralph Carter gained 146 yards on 11 carries and scored two touchdowns as Clinch Valley (6-4) set a single-game total offense record with 675 yards in a 62-12 victory over Sue Bennett (0-7).
