OBIT STANKE, LLOYD WELDON
STANKE, Lloyd Weldon, ("Bill"), 80, of Newport, died Sunday afternoon,
November 14, 1993, at his home. Born in Adrian, Washington, he was a son of
the late Walter H. and Lula Rvot Stanke. He was retired from Kaizer Aluminum
Co. and was a member of the First Christian Church of Newport. Surviving are
his wife, Frances Shrader Stanke; one son, L. W. (Bill) Stanke Jr., Spokane,
Wash.; two daughters, Betty Nance, Linwood, Wash., Jeraldine Jerome,
Charleston, S.C.; three stepsons, Eugene Shrader, Pembroke, James Richard
Shrader, Pennsylvania, Darrell Wayne Shrader, Christiansburg; four
stepdaughters, Geraldine Vanhoozier, Christiansburg, Bonnie Beasley, Newport,
Carolyn Williams, Newport, Beverly Williams, Pembroke; 6 grandchildren; 14
stepgrandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren. Funeral services will be
conducted Tuesday, November 16, at 2 p.m. in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel,
Pembroke, with the Rev. Clayton Tennell and Elder Gary Williams officiating.
Burial will be in the cemetery on the Shrader Farm at Newport. The family will
receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday evening.
