OBIT CAMPBELL, JESSE JAMES

CAMPBELL, Jesse James, 82, of Salem, died Sunday, November 14, 1993, in the Richfield Nursing Center. He was born April 21, 1911, in Rockbridge County, Va. Surviving are two daughters, Shirley C. (Sam) Peters, Salem, Va., Freda C. Overton, Clifton Forge, Va.; two sons, James W. Lawhorn, Clifton Forge, Va., Charles Edward Lawhorn, Roanoke, Va.; three brothers, Gordon Campbell, Crozet, Va., Buck Campbell, Rockbridge, Va., Gernie Campbell, Clifton Forge, Va.; eight grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 16, 1993, in the Haines Chapel Cemetery, with the Rev. Kenneth Huff officiating. Arrangements by Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
