FOR THE RECORD

A graphic accompanying Sunday's Business section story on Blue Cross and Blue Shield showed the company's Roanoke business in number of insurance contracts at year end, not in the dollar value of those sales. The chart labeled as the company's total business included four lines of business, but not the core private lines of insurance.

Because of a copy editor's error, part of a paragraph that contained a quote from Assistant U.S. Attorney Joe Mott was dropped from Wednesday's story about Paul Andrew Henson, who was convicted of operating the largest known illegal distillery in state history.

The paragraph should have read: "Andy Henson is no `Snuffy Smith' stealing chickens to support Aunt Loweezy and cousin Jughaid," Mott said, speaking of the comic strip about Appalachian mountain people.
