HAMBRICK, Roy C., 81, of Salem, passed away Thursday, November 18, 1993. He
was retired from Safety Motor Transit, was a veteran of World War II and a
member of First Christian Church, Salem. Surviving are his wife of 57 years,
Nannie St.Clair Hambrick; son and daughter-in-law, David R. and Janice
Hambrick; grandsons, Matthew D. Hambrick, Gregory W. Hambrick and Glenn R.
Hambrick, all of Salem; brother and sister-in-law, Leonard R. and Edith
Hambrick, Roanoke; sisters and brothers-in-law, Thelma and Julius Green,
Richmond, Ellen and Bill Williams, Iuka, Miss., Helen and Forrest Gearhart,
Roanoke, Blanche Hudgins, Salem; sisters-in-law, Alene St.Clair, Mary Stanley,
Peggy St.Clair, Roanoke. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Lotz
Salem Chapel, with the Rev. Wayne McCauley officiating. Interment will be in
Sherwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to
First Christian Church of Salem. Arrangements are being handled by Lotz
Funeral Home, Salem.
