Damon Watlington led the Hokies with 24 points, Jim Jackson had 19 and Ace Custis added 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Vince Wilson scored 20 points for Court Authority, which was playing its second game of the day.
"It was a team win," said Bill Foster, Tech's coach. "But if I had a game ball award tonight, it would go to Corey Jackson."

In Radford, Anthony Walker scored 23 points and was joined in double figures by four teammates as the Highlanders defeated Court Authority 96-87 in an exhibition game.
Tyrone Travis had 16 points and 10 rebounds for Radford, which opens its season at home Saturday night against Cabrini. Don Burgess and Jason Lansdown scored 15 points each and Damian Ingram added 11.
Vince Wilson led Court Authority with 25 points and Mike Perry had 22.
Virginia will hold its final preseason men's basketball game at 7:30 p.m. today, when it faces the Australian National Team at University Hall. The Australian team, featuring former Seton Hall standout Andrew Gaze, has a victory over UCLA on its tour.
Women
In Blacksburg, Jenny Root scored 18 points and Sue Logsdon had 17 as Virginia Tech routed Rogaska Slatina of Slovenia 82-56 in an exhibition game.
The Hokies dominated the boards 50-34 to hand the Slovenians their first loss after four victories on their U.S. tour.
In Bridgewater, former Lord Botetourt High School standout Christie Osborne was named to the all-tournament team at the Bridgewater College Women's Basketball Invitational. Osborne is a junior guard for the Eagles, who lost the championship game to Salisbury (Md.) State 77-73.
In Arlington, Elizabethtown (2-1) beat Roanoke 77-57 in the consolation game of the Marymount Tipoff Tournament. Kay Caldwell had 15 points for Roanoke (1-2).
