Parker, who also was named the league's offensive player of the year, was joined on the first team by six Marshall teammates, including linebacker William King, who was selected the SC's defensive player of the year.
VMI did not have a representative on the first team. Keydets center Sid Mitchener was named to the second team.
Marshall's Travis Colquitt, who attended Lord Botetourt High, was named as the second-team punter.
Tim Stowers, who led Georgia Southern to the SC championship, was a landslide winner for coach of the year.

Boston University quarterback Robert Dougherty was named the Yankee Conference offensive player of the year, and Terriers coach Dan Allen was named coach of the year.
William and Mary defensive lineman Craig Staub was named defensive player of the year, and Rhode Island quarterback Chris Hixson was honored as the conference's rookie of the year.
Dougherty threw for 2,434 yards and 22 touchdowns as the Terriers, ranked No. 6 in NCAA Division I-AA, went 11-0 overall and 8-0 in the conference.
Staub, a senior, led William and Mary (9-2, 7-1) with 113 tackles. The Tribe is ranked No. 10 in Division I-AA.
At Bethlehem, Pa., Virginia finished 17th out of 22 teams in the NCAA women's cross country championships Monday at Lehigh University. Senior Lara Drauglia was UVa's top finisher, placing 56th. Villanova, paced by Carole Sajac and Jennifer Rhines, who finished 1-2, won the team title with 66 points. Arkansas was second with 71 points. Virginia had 380 points.
At Charlottesville, Virginia's men's and women's swimming and diving teams swept Virginia Tech in a meet Sunday. The UVa men swept all 13 events to win 139-92, while the UVa women captured all but one event in winning 139-89.
