John Lewis Etzler IV, 54, of the Haymakertown area, was clearing out a pond on the family farm with a front-end loader attached to a tractor and dumping the mud into a truck, Sheriff Reed Kelly said.
When Etzler dumped the mud in another area of the farm, the truck became stuck. Etzler, who was working alone, chained the truck to the tractor and attempted to pull it out.
Kelly said he was unsure how the tractor overturned, but thinks the truck got past the tractor and flipped it over.
A family member found Etzler about noon, Kelly said. TAG - LISA APPLEGATE
