CRUISE, Elmo B., 74, of Blue Ridge, died Monday, November 22, 1993. He was
an Army veteran of World War II and retired from Kenan Trucking Co. Surviving
are his companion, Dorothy Redman; son, Robert E. Cruise, Blue Ridge;
stepsons, Gary A. Redman, Blue Ridge, Randy Redman, Roanoke, Kenneth Redman,
Blue Ridge, Michael Redman, Montvale; stepdaughters, Vera Claytor, Bedford,
Teresa Wall, Roanoke; three grandchildren, Bridget Claytor, Reva Claytor,
Michael Wall; aunt and uncle, Walker and Lucy Fain; uncle, Robert Cruise, all
of Stuart; a niece; a number of nephews. Funeral services will be conducted
from Oakey's Vinton Chapel at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 24, 1993, with the
Rev. Dr. Donald W. Eade officiating. Burial, with graveside services, will be
at 1 p.m. at the Community Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Patrick County.
