OBIT JACKSON, JERRY ROSS

JACKSON, Jerry Ross, 54, of Roanoke, died Monday, November 22, 1993. He was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church, a graduate of Wake Forest University and was a probation and parole officer. Surviving are his wife, Linda Sue Stewart Jackson; son, William Ross Jackson of Salem; daughter, Mary Lyn Jackson Bowman of Roanoke; grandchildren, Melisa, Melony and Travis Bowman; mother and father, William Ross Jackson and Ruth Armstrong Jackson of Cramerton, N.C. Services will be conducted from Oakey's South Chapel 9 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Art Hearne officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia, N.C. with the Rev. Bob Dennis officiating. Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel.
