OBIT PEARCE, ELIZABETH LINK

PEARCE, Elizabeth Link, 95, of Roanoke, died Monday, November 22, 1993, in the Friendship Manor, Roanoke. Mrs. Pearce was born in Rockbridge Co., Va., on August 18, 1898, a daughter of the late John Alfred Link and Lucy Echard Link. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles C. Pearce and a sister, Louise Link Grow, and was a member of the North Minister Presbyterian Church, Roanoke. Mrs. Pearce is survived by a brother, Frank G. Link of Memphis, Tenn. and two sisters, Mrs. Frank Dixon and Pauline Link, both of Lexington. Funeral services will be conducted from the graveside on Thursday, November 25, 1993, at 11 a.m. from the Stonewall Jackson Cemetery, with the Rev. Lee Van Ruckman officiating. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Falling Spring Presbyterian Church. Arrangements by the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
