OBIT-CAUDILL, GLADYS CRAWFORD

CAUDILL, Gladys Crawford, 82, of 211 E. Wolf Street, Narrows, died Tuesday, November 23, 1993, in Giles Memorial Hospital, Pearisburg. She was born in Big Stone Gap, Va. on February 27, 1910 and was the daughter of the late William and Sarah Brackens Crawford. She was a member of The First Christian Church in Narrows and the V.F.W. Post #6000 Auxiliary in Narrows. She was preceeded in death by a brother, Ott Crawford. She is survived by her husband, Paul C. Caudill of Narrows; two sons and daughters-in-law, David L. and Cynthia Caudill, of Roanoke, Alvin L. and Bonnie Caudill of Collinsville; four brothers, Paul Crawford, of Roanoke, Woodrow Crawford, of Glen Burnie, Md., Wilson Crawford, of St. Petersburg, Fla., Eugene Crawford, of Nashville, Tn.; two sisters, Louise C. Scrabro, of Ft. Myers, Fla., Neoma C. Cunningham, of New Orleans, La.; four grandchildren, Timothy Caudill, Anthony Caudill, Scott Caudill, Mike Caudill and a Great-Grandchild, Amanda Caudill. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Riffe's Funeral Chapel in Narrows with the Rev. Jack E. Musick officiating. Burial will follow in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg, Va. The family will receive friends at Riffe's Funeral Service in Narrows, Thursday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. The family suggests that those who are going to send memorials, please consider The First Christian Church, Memorial Boulevard, Narrows, Va. 24124.
