YEARY, Buena Lee, 96, of Rt. 4 Box 170, Jonesville, died Wednesday morning,
November 24, 1993, in the Lee County Community Hospital, Pennington Gap, Va.
She was born in Lee County, Va., the daughter of the late Ephriam and Alice
Ely Turner. She was a member of York United Methodist Church. She was preceded
in death by her husband, Kemp Yeary, and a son, Ray Yeary. Surviving are one
daughter, Mrs. James (Mary Lynn) Murrie, Copper Hill, Va.; six grandchildren,
Charles and Cindy Yeary, Huntsville, Ala., Bobby and Judy Yeary, Jonesville,
Va., Lynda and Jeff Robinette, Norton, Va., Frances and Darryl Gearhart,
Copper Hill, Va., Debbie and Richard Finney, Roanoke, Va., Frank and Anna
Murrie, Copper Hill, Va.; 12 great-grandchildren, Chad, Carisa and Casey
Yeary, Huntsville, Ala., Brady and Jennifer Yeary, Jonesville, Va., Mandy and
Julie Robinette, Norton, Va., Brittany Grindstaff, Norton, Va., Neal and
Michelle Finney, Roanoke, Va., Kelli and Allison Murrie, Copper Hill, Va.; one
daughter-in-law, Mary Sue Yeary, Jonesville, Va.; and several nieces and
nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the
Arney-Mullins Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday
in the Arney-Mullins Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Raymond Baird officiating.
Burial will follow in the Lee Memorial Gardens, Woodway, Va. Grandsons and
great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Arrangements by Arney-Mullins
Funeral Home, Jonesville.
