HILL, Elsie Combs, 83, of Hillsville, died Thursday afternoon, November 25, 1993, at her home. Mrs. Hill is survived by her husband, E. Ferd Hill; three children, Mrs. EmmaJean Slusher, Bobby Hill, both of Hillsville, Larry Hill, Fancy Gap; eight grandchildren, Wayne Slusher, Roanoke, Martha Michaelis, Galax, Donna Akers, Roanoke, David Slusher, Jeffrey Hill, BobbieJo Hill, all of Hillsville, Justin Hill, Trent Hill, both of Fancy Gap; three great-grandchildren, Dedra Michaelis, Sarah Michaelis and Seth Hill; eight brothers and sisters, Carlos Combs, Wilma Vass, Mamie Dalton, Esther Hill, Ruth Ripey, Arnold Combs, Mildred Hill, Irene Bowman, all of Carroll County. The family will receive friends at Moody Funeral Home, Mt. Airy, N.C., from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday evening. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, November 27, 1993, at Mt. Lebanon Primitive Baptist Church.
