OBIT KUTZ, CATHERINE FRANCES

KUTZ, Catherine Frances, 75, of Buena Vista, died Wednesday, November 24, 1993, at her residence. She was born November 1, 1918, in Rockbridge County, the daughter of the late Ernest A. and Madge Ryman Staton. She was a lifelong member of the Buena Vista Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Adam Kutz. She is survived by one son, Warren C. Kutz, Buena Vista; two sisters, Louise Pugh, Buena Vista and Phyllis Gilbert, Charlottesville, Va.; two brothers, Rudolph Staton, Roanoke and Ralph Staton, Lynchburg; two grandchildren, Christy and Lisa Kutz, both of Buena Vista. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 27, 1993, at the Lomax Funeral Home Chapel, with the Dr. Chip Pendleton and the Rev. Dean Staton officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Lomax Funeral Home from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Buena Vista Rescue Squad.
